Recent developments from the Yuanba 2-2H project at the newly constructed Yuanba gas field site report encouraging progress. Core equipment supplied by Sichuan Kexin Electromechanical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Company’ or ‘Kexin Electromechanical’)—including choke heating separation modules and flare separator skids—has demonstrated stable operation, injecting fresh momentum into the rapid expansion of the Yuanba gas field.
On 15 January 2025, the Yuanba 2-2H facility commenced operations successfully in a single attempt, achieving a daily natural gas production of 400,000 cubic metres. This accomplishment lays a solid foundation for the gas field's 2025 production targets. As the first modularly constructed facility at Yuanba, the Yuanba 2-2H site reduced the original process flow from seven modules to five standardised modules, prefabricated off-site and assembled locally. The throttling, heating and separation module supplied by Kexin Electromechanical proved pivotal to this innovative construction approach.
Throughout the project, Kexin Electromechanical collaborated closely with the client to conduct comprehensive risk identification and management. Establishing robust construction management protocols and quality control measures ensured site safety and quality standards. Additionally, Kexin actively participated in process design, material acceptance, commissioning, and production support, providing strong assurance for the project's smooth progression.
Kexin Electromechanical's deep involvement in the Yuanba 2-2H project not only demonstrates the company's specialised technical capabilities in manufacturing pressure vessels from special materials for high-sulphur conditions and in skid-mounted integrated equipment, but also reflects its profound understanding of and proactive response to client requirements. Moving forward, the company will continue to uphold its customer-centric service philosophy, continuously innovate technologies, enhance quality, and contribute further to advancing China's energy sector.
