Recent developments from the Huaneng Dongguan Gas Turbine Phase II project site confirm the successful completion of the 498.48MW gas-steam combined-cycle peak-shaving unit. The TCA and FGH gas turbine equipment manufactured by Sichuan Kexin Electromechanical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Company’ or ‘Kexin Electromechanical’) operated stably with excellent performance indicators, achieving the first domestic application of this type of equipment.
It is understood that the Huaneng Dongguan Gas Turbine Phase II Project is a key initiative under Guangdong Province's 14th Five-Year Plan for energy development. Serving as a demonstration project for China Huaneng's comprehensive implementation of the national ‘dual carbon’ strategy and deep integration into the Greater Bay Area development, the facility will, upon commissioning, comprehensively support regional economic integration and accelerate the construction of a new power system. It will provide secure, efficient, and clean energy to propel the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area towards becoming a world-class bay area.
