On 24 July 2025, as the final ten heavy transport vehicles slowly departed Sichuan Kexin Electromechanical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Company’ or ‘Kexin Electromechanical’), it marked the successful completion of shipping all oversized core equipment for the four major projects undertaken by the Company: Fujian Zhong Sha, Zhejiang Petrochemical, Russia-Sibur, and Indonesia's Palembang.
As a key member of the Deyang Heavy Equipment Base, the Kexin Electromechanical project team tackled a series of challenges including complex equipment structures and stringent manufacturing precision requirements. Kexin Electromechanical's project team overcame the impact of July's high temperatures. Fully leveraging technical expertise and craftsmanship, they rigorously adhered to acceptance standards throughout critical processes—from design and material procurement to welding, heat treatment, non-destructive testing, precision machining, and final assembly and commissioning. Innovative application of proprietary welding techniques ensured quality, while an in-house developed intelligent welding system enhanced efficiency, enabling the equipment to pass customer acceptance testing in a single attempt.
Regarding transportation, the equipment batch exceeded 1,000 tonnes in total weight with the tallest component surpassing 8 metres in height. Its dimensions and weight far exceeded standard freight capacity limits, imposing stringent demands on vehicle selection and route planning. This presented significant challenges including complex coordination and substantial logistical difficulties. Throughout the preparatory and execution phases, provincial and municipal government departments consistently prioritised enterprise support and development assistance. They provided meticulous guidance and unwavering backing, ensuring the seamless dispatch of this equipment consignment.
